Entrepreneurs in ‘Dragon’s Den’-style weekend event
Merimbula, NSW, 1 March, 2012: Entrepreneurs on the Sapphire Coast get their chance to validate their web-based business ideas before a highly credentialed Investor Panel at the fast-approaching SeaChange Start Up Camp Merimbula to be held on the weekend of March 9th to the 11th. Like their peers in the popular ABC show ‘Dragon’s Den’ the panel will ask some hard questions of the businesses being pitched, but significantly, the Start Up Camp environment will be one of positivity and encouragement.
The Investor Panel comprises both local high-achievers and representatives from the investor communities of both Sydney and Canberra.
And in an additional boost for the Start Up event, Master of Ceremony duties during the weekend will be undertaken by highly regarded local media and business identities, Sophie Campbell and Jo Thorpe.
Start Up Camps have been running all over the world in recent years and have provided many successful entrepreneurs with their first taste of the fast-paced world of building web-based businesses. This is one of the first Start Up Camps ever to be run outside of a metropolitan region.
